The Grandstream GXP1628 is a powerful IP phone that is ideal for small to medium businesses.
This Linux based module includes a LCD graphical display, 2 line keys, 3 XML programmable keys, 8 BLF Keys and 3-way conferencing.
Other features including dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, HD audio, multi-language and integrated PoE.
The Grandstream GXP1628 is a SIP telephone which will work across most VoIP telephony Platforms. These SIP telephones will require provisioning. Your VoIP telephony service provider will be able to assist you.
This is a Power Over Ethernet (PoE) enabled device but is also supplied with an alternative PSU.
So if do not have PoE, you do not need to purchase a separate Power Supply Unit.

Q. Do the GXP IP Phone support call recording or do I need to buy an Add On Module?
A. If the PBX or sever supports call recording so will the GXP phones. You do not need to buy an AOM to support this feature.
Q. Why is there an icon with a down arrow going into a basket on my display screen?
A. This icon is stating that the phone is writing files to the call record detail file. This happens either when the phone has been idle for 5 minutes or when the call records reach greater than 100 calls
