The Cisco 7960G is perfect for managers and executives, providing six programmable line and feature buttons, and a high quality speakerphone with audio controls for full duplex speakerphone, handset and headset, with 3-way conference call capability.
The large LCD display provides features including date and time, calling party name, calling party number, and digits dialed. The graphic capability of the display allows for the inclusion of such features as XML (Extensible Markup Language) and future features.

Q. Can additional keys be added to the 7960G?
A. Yes, the Cisco 7914 Expansion Module will provide 14 additional soft keys.
Q. Is the Cisco 7940G/60G PoE compatible?
A. The 7940G/60G phones only support Cisco pre standard Power over Ethernet. They have NEVER been 802.3af compliant, and since Cisco was the only vendor that made switches for Cisco pre standard POE, there is no way a third party switch would have worked with a 7940G/60G handset.
