Q. Can multiple SoundPoint IP7000 conference phones be used together?
A. Yes. A maximum of 2 IP7000 units can be connected and used together with all microphones and speakerphone active. The call can be controlled via either conferencing unit.
Q. The Polycom SoundStation IP range are power though PoE, Is the a PSU available for non PoE environments>?
A.Yes, there is a PSU available for each model:
- Polycom SoundStation IP5000 Power Supply Unit
- Polycom SoundStation IP6000 SIP Power Supply Unit
- Polycom SoundStation IP7000 SIP Power Supply Unit
Q. Can the SoundStation IP 6000 be connected to a Polycom video conferencing system?
Q. Can I use the SoundStation IP Conference Phone range on a SIP IP platform that is not on the list of Polycom VIP partner Platforms?
A. The SoundStation IP conference Phone range is only support on the approved platforms. Performance and Interoperability cannot be guaranteed on non approved platforms.
Q.Can the IP6000 support expansion Microphones?
A. Yes, the SoundStation IP6000 will support a maximum of 2 IP6000 SIP Microphones.
Q. Is the SoundStation IP5000 expandable?
A. No, the IP5000 cannot support expansion microphones.
