Q. What does the "V" stand for in the product description?
The "V" stands for Voice Tube. The HW510V differs from the HW510 because it is equipped with a Voice Tube where as the HW510 is equipped with a Noise Cancelling microphone. the same applies for the HE520V and HW520.

Q. Whats the difference between the Plantronics HW510 and HW520?
The Plantronics HW510 in a Monaural headset and the HW520 is a Binaural headset.

Q. Does The Plantronics HW540 come with a bottom lead?
None of the HW500 series come with a bottom. Bottom lead are specific to your make and model of telephone. Please use our Headset Compatibility Guide to find out which lead you need.

Q. What connection lead do i need to use the HW500 series with a PC?

Q. Do I have to remove the when I leave me desk?
No, these headset are equipped with a QD connection point. simple disconnect and you're free.

Q. Are the HW500 series all "Over the Head" in wearing style?
No, the HW530 is "Over The Ear". The Plantronics HW540 is fully convertible, meaning it can be worn in "Over The Head", "Behind The Neck" And "Over The Ear" wearing styles.
