The Honeywell North® Primair™ 500 (PA501WEU), is a particulate-only powered air-purifying respirator that comes with a Nylon belt.
The Honeywell North® Primair™ PA501EU Starter kit is an all-in-one PAPR respirator that can be used with Honeywell Hoods and Helmets. The battery and blower motor are contained in a compact casing delivering better safety.
The Nylon belt distributes weight evenly which prevents slipping. The keypad features large buttons, is easy-to-read and can be operated even when wearing gloves.

Q. Do I need to be face fit tested?

No. The Honeywell PA500 PAPR solution can be deployed without the need for being clean shaven or face fit tested.
Q. Can I use the PA500 for spray painting?
A.
Generally, no — the PA500 is designed for particulate protection (dusts) and is not suitable for most paints or solvents.
Q. What standards/certifications does it meet?
A.
The PA500 system with approved filters meets EN 12941 class TH3 for particulate protection, providing a known level of performance.
