The Cisco Desk Phone 9800 Key Expansion Module (KEM) enhances your phone by adding extra extension lines and programmable buttons. These buttons can be configured as line keys, speed-dial shortcuts, or other supported phone feature keys.
The 9800 KEM supports up to 40 lines, arranged across two pages of 20 buttons each. Multiple expansion modules can be used on Cisco 9861 and 9871 phones, but each module must be of the same type.
