Mitel UC360 Endpoints

We have seen of late the many smaller, less obtrusive and portable conference units available on the market these days ( see Speakerphones for Meetings ) from manufacturers such as Sennheiser, Jabra, Plantronics and others. We are pleased to look at Mitel's very own take on the product offering.
We have, as per the other speakerphones a smaller than average ( at least compared to the traditional Polycom Conference phone ) desktop unit which is capable, of course, of full duplex sound which is picked up by 16 microphones - which are guided by beam-forming technology. The affect of having 16 microphones , with wide band audio, is that sound quality is greatly enhanced.
Unlike the other desktop speakerphones mentioned, the UC360 has a large, touch sensitive colour screen ( 7 inch ). This allows access to the entirety of the UC360's features and functionality whilst also sporting an embedded web browser. The screen is bordered by five one touch function buttons.
The basic Mitel UC360 can be viewed here and allows audio conferencing.
An additional model in this series is the slightly more advanced Mitel UC360 Collaboration device which has all the properties of the audio version as well as allowing rich multimedia collaboration via Ethernet cameras and a HDMI interface. One can access and share files through via Google Docs, Dropbox, USB Flash Drive, Micro SD Card or RDP.
Both of these products are capable of handling meetings with multiple participants and make remote business conferencing achievable in an instant.
