Looking at the Jabra Biz 2300

With the Jabra Biz 2300 Headset currently short-listed for product of the year at the Customer Contact Centre Expo 2014 we felt that it was time we focussed on this beautiful piece of product. We mentioned the 2300 before in our Top 10 Call Centre Headsets article but it merits an investigation of its own.
The Jabra Biz 2300 is not just a headset, it is a range of headsets, all of which share a common design, build and features. The differences in the individual units are a choice between monaural and binaural styles and a choice of connectivity dependent upon whether it will be connected top a desk phone ( the Unify models ) or Microsoft Lync or Unified Communications Platforms. All the models feature HD Voice. Wideband Speaker and Noise Cancelling.
Some other things we like about this headset are some of those lovely pieces of detail that you find in a premium product such as the Kevlar Reinforced Cord, the "Scandinavian" minimalist design and the 360° rotating arm. Not only do these take Jabra's 2300 look and feel to a new level of professionalism but this pragmatic build also makes the unit extremely durable and surprisingly comfortable.
