We love a well considered addition to our headset portfolio and the latest from Jabra is no exception. The Jabra Engage 50 II is a headset perfectly suited for customer service or call centre environments. In essence we have a comfortable USB headset which can be worn all day and which delivers great sound.
The Jabra Engage 50 II is available in a few variants : offering up combinations which include mono and stereo versions, USB-A and USB-C options and, further – with or without an inline controller ( the Link ) – Microsoft Teams and UC ( Unified Communications versions are also available ) . In order to avoid confusion – it is the Link itself which allows full access to Microsoft Teams functionality. This inline call controller has an innovative smart ringer function which detects whether the headset is being worn at the time and, when not worn will ring itself to alert the user. The headset also incorporates a busy light to allow colleagues to see that the user is engaged on a call.
To summarise : the Jabra Engage 50 II provides a low cost, but highly functional headset which will never need charging and can be worn all day. This makes it perfect for a call centre user or anyone involved with a customer centric role. Sound quality is assured via the three microphones whilst comfort is enhanced by a bespoke angling of the ear cushions.
