The ClearOne MAX EX Expansion unit is added to the ClearOne MAX EX Conference phone making it a twin Conference phone. In effect, this doubles the number of speakers and microphones you are using, as well as inceasing the effective working range.
The ClearOne MAX EX audio conference phone can be expanded to a maximum of four units. This means a maximum of three ClearOne MAX EX Expansion Units can be added to one ClearOne MAX EX audio conference phone.
The ClearOne MAX EX Expansion Unit can not work without the conference phone, as it has no Power Supply Unit (PSU) and gets it's power from the ClearOne MAX EX audio conference phone.
