What is a typical room setup for the Jabra PanaCast U30?
The Jabra PanaCast U30 is optimised for meeting rooms up to 4.5m x 4.5m (15ft x 15ft) in size. For flexible installation, the video bar can be mounted on either the long or short wall, allowing you to adapt the setup to your room layout and collaboration needs.
Does it take long to install?
Ease of deployment is just as important as an user experience, the Jabra PanaCast U30 has been designed for rapid installation and scalable roll outs. The result is a solution that can go from box to meeting-ready in minutes.

Can I connect the Jabra PanaCast U30 to a Wi-Fi network?
Yes, the PanaCast U30 supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks*. You can connect the device to your preferred wireless network during setup by selecting the Wi-Fi option, or configure Wi-Fi settings later through the Web Console.
When both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections are available, the PanaCast U30 automatically uses the Ethernet connection as the primary network. To switch to Wi-Fi, simply disconnect the Ethernet cable from the video bar.
Please Note
A factory reset is not required when changing network settings. After the device connects successfully, a new IP address is displayed.
Can the Jabra PanaCast U30 be managed remotely?
How do I factory reset the Jabra PanaCast U30?
A factory reset restores the PanaCast U30 to its original default settings. You can reset the video bar using either of the following methods:
Remote Reset
Access the Web Console by entering the video bar’s IP address into a web browser, then navigate to the System Reset menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
Manual Reset
Press and hold the Reset button on the back of the video bar for approximately 20 seconds. Continue holding until the LED indicator flashes pink and a factory reset message appears on the connected display.
The PanaCast U30 will then restart automatically and play an audio notification when the reset process is complete. The entire reset procedure takes around one minute.
A Better BYOD Experience
Unlike a dedication Teams or Zoom systems that requires a meetings collaboration to take place on a specific platform, the Jabra PanaCast U30 is designed for multi-platform (BYOD) environments.
You simply bring your laptop, connect via a single USB-C cable, and launch your meeting via your preferred platform. Whether you’re on Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Zoom (other UC platforms are available!), the experience remains simple and familiar.
A stand out feature of the U30 that aims to reduce frustration and help meetings start faster is Jabra unique onboarding feature. Instead of a blank meeting screen clear visual guidance on how to connect and get started is displayed on-screen when you enter the room. This reduces frustration and confusion, speeds up meeting start times, and lowers requests for help.
