Siemens OptiPoint telephones are the updated version of the Optiset E series and are used worldwide with the HiPath and HiCom range of telephone systems. There are five separate ranges of OptiPoint telephones; the OptiPoint 500, the OptiPoint 420 and the OptiPoint 410 ranges each having five separate models, the OptiPoint 400 range having two models and the OptiPoint 600 just one.
The Optipoint 500 range are digital telephones, whereas the Optipoint 400, 410 and 420 models are IP enabled, the differences between these three ranges being that the Optipoint 400 telephones work with a power supply and are not POE. The OptiPoint 410 and 420 phones are POE, with the 420 range having the added benefit of self-labelling LCD feature keys. The Siemens OptiPoint 600 telephone is a TDM and IP-based feature telephone with an extra large display.
